Emmett Kelly Clown Festival

• Dates: April 26–27, 2025
• Location: Downtown Houston, MO
• Highlights:

  • Kindergarten Circus at Hiett Gymnasium
  • 5K Run/Walk with cash prizes and a best-dressed clown award
  • Car show sponsored by Houston High School Welding Department
  • Live music, parade, vendor booths, and food trucks
  • Chili cook-off benefiting the Houston High School Band
  • Business window decorating contest with a $250 advertising prize

• Vendor Opportunities:

  • Booth spaces: 20’ x 8’ for $20; electricity available for an additional $15
  • Applications due by early April; available at Houston City Hall or houstonmo.org

  • Sponsor specific events such as the art contest, dinner presentations, or musical acts
